Legs very stiff today. Ran an extended warmup and stretched lots with the girls, knee was kinda hurty during warmup and stretches before the race. Right at the start knee was bugging me and it niggled at me during the whole race, so I think I let it get to me when I got tired out in the middle portions. (won't happen again!) Also, I don't think I pushed it as hard as I could've, especially the second half of the first mile and first half of the second mile when I kinda lost confidence. My last mile, though, I think I pushed quite well.

After the race, I was pretty frustrated (p.o.ed) and took off to contemplate my suckiness in solitude for a while, then slapped myself and got what positive encouragement I could out of it. Then I ran a really slow mile and a bit cooldown around the block. Knee pretty sore. And legs a lot sore. (Alchemy 134.9) (DD spike 12.2)

I'm sorry about your knee and the getting over the flu crap! Don't worry you really don't suck trust me. Good luck with everything, you are crazy running two races in a row!

Small set backs will make you more hungry! Being sick is tough! You still ran two great races.
