Well, I was meaning to go on the Club run tonight, but I left late from my house (curse college essays) and got there around 5:35, so everyone had left before I arrived. Still, it was nice to run somewhere else. I ran an easy out-and-back 3 miler. Nice and brisk out and legs were feeling great. Since I ran shorter than anybody, I finished way before them and I would've just stayed talking to Anna 'til people got back just for fun, but I had to get back home to write my Calvin essay which I need to finish tonight because it is due Dec. 1! So I ran a run from the SGRC, but with no people... I need to keep track of the time better! Avg. 7:18/mi. (Alchemy 343.2)

Dang! You probably just missed us. Good luck with the essays.

I learned something new about you today....You like beans! I love your goals! Especially the fast, fast, fast and break the school record! You go girl!!! We are cheering for you all the way!

Yeah, Jeff, I was pretty sad. And thanks for the luck - I need it!

Kim - Thanks! About the beans thing, I don't actually love beans THAT much... those are the lyrics to a song by Brak.

Hopefully I will see you. Good luck in the race!

Is your race tomorrow?? Good luck! Is this the footlocker one? I love you!

Are you writing different essays for each college, or kind of using the same one with mini variations? I'm absolutely sure you can get into Calvin, your 31 on ACT (if you didn't score higher on the last one) is excellent and good enough for the most selctive schools out there. I didn't realize how good it was until I looked at some school admission profiles! Calvin's profle has 23-29 ACT range. I assume you have very good school record as well, plus x-country - you'll get in for sure. Good luck!!

Ally - YUP!!! I'm SO EXCITED!

Maria- Most of the colleges I'm applying to have different required essays, so I think the total count of essays to write is up to 8. Or 9. Yuk. And I just got my scores from my most recent ACT and I got a 32! Thanks for the reassurance about Calvin, it's just so nerve racking to put yourself out there like that.

From Cal on Fri, Nov 30, 2007 at 14:31:03

Nice job on the ACT. That puts you in the 'Elite' classification in Academics.

If you end up at Calvin, I'd like to see if you can get me a singlet from there.
