I'm going keep my achilles questions going (tendonosis).

Has anyone or does anyone know anyone who has done Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment for for chronic achilles tendon pain?

I did manage to elliptical 120+ minutes watching Spirited Away.

I gotta watch that.

Wish I knew more about achilles tendon stuff but I'm afraid I don't know diddly. Hope you can find something to help you get that taken care of.

I love all the Miyazaki movies I've seen. Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Tortoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Castle in the Sky. All great stuff.

I've attempted to watch that movie thrice. On day I'm going to stay awake through it.

My son absolutely loves that movie. I'm not a big Japanese anime fan, but I do enjoy that movie too. I'll have to check out the others that Chad suggested.

Can't help you much with the achilles, though. I injured mine a while back and it healed so slowly I am tuned in to mine and any little twinge of pain I make sure to stretch it/ice it more than normal. Good luck!

I am very interested to see what you find out about the PRP therapy. Just beware of the anti-doping police ... with how fast you are already!!! :)

(I know it has been used to treat elbow injuries in baseball players: http://www.popularmechanics.com/outdoors/sports/baseball/platelet-rich-plasma-therapy-sports)

Are you getting PRP treatment? Sorry to hear the 'ole achilles still giving you grief!

From Smooth on Sun, Nov 21, 2010 at 19:24:56 from 67.2.111.170

It's been a week. Any update? How are you doing?

From Tom on Mon, Nov 22, 2010 at 15:21:30 from 137.65.56.16

Yeah how's it going man?

From Rhett on Mon, Nov 22, 2010 at 22:58:41 from 74.32.216.228

I hope you can get to the bottom of this injury quickly and figure out how to get it healthy. Keep up the cross training in the meantime. It makes getting back to running a million times easier.

Paul, are you still alive? How is your achilles?

Hope you have a good Thanksgiving, I'm off to Paris for 2 weeks after the holiday so I hope to see you at the gym when I get back.

From Teena Marie on Wed, Nov 24, 2010 at 12:48:08 from 67.2.85.29

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! :) :) :)

I keep checking for an update on your achilles. Hope all is well.
