No running today, but I did finally make it to my chiropractor-oh the perpetual bliss he brings to my life!!!! I FINALLY got my back to adjust after being out for almost two months and it feels GREAT again!! I also had him take a look at my knee and said it was classic alskrjawoeifnadlsn something or other. Basically, because my back was so out for so long and I kept running, it made my left hip muscle tense up, which made the outer quad muscle cramp up, which pulled my knee cap over to the outside of my knee, which left the tendon underneath exposed and irritated. How's that for cause and effect??? Fortunately, it's not serious and I think I've figured out how to get the stretch in to fix it. He gave me the green light to run however I want to as long as I stretch the outer quad muscle every day. Yippee for me!!! |
