Well, it looks like I logged 27.39 miles while in Belize.  Most of it was easy running on the beach.  All that running in th sand is tough.  I did about 80 % of my runs on the beach and the other 20% on the roads.  I didn't get in until 1:30 this morning and I had to be at work at 8 am.  I think I will take today off and then start running again tomorrow morning.  I missed all the running chat with you guys, but it was great to get away from life's stresses.  Now I have 5 days to get ready for the 5K Turkey Trot.  I have not weighed in, but I don't think I gained much weight on the trip.

Rhett...

It's great to have you back. I hope you had a lot of fun on your trip. All that running in the sand probably added more miles with your feet sliding back with each step.

Welcome back Rhett sounds like you got in some good resistance running. Sand running is tough I tried it last time I went to Hawaii. Good Luck at the turkey trot. That will be my next race too. Glad you had such a good time and a much needed break.

Rhett glad to have you back! I hope you are tan, relaxed and ready for another year of running! Maybe you can post some pic!

Welcome back!!! All that running on sand really strengthens your ankles and leg muscles. When I ran on the beach (San Diego and Hawaii) I tried to run where the sand is just wet from the laping waves, enough softness but not too much gives. I LOVED it. I'm sure you're all rejuvenated, nicely tanned and ready for anything now.

Good luck on your Turkey trot. Yah, I second Kathie...post pictures please?
