My arc trainer is still getting worked on so I did 10 minutes warmup 40 at 90% effort then 10 minutes cool down on the elliptical.

Dang, Rhett...I hope that Arc Trainer gets fixed soon. How is your foot feeling?

Thanks everyone for all the concern about my foot. I have resigned myself to the fact that it is not going to get better any time soon, so I am focusing on weight training, upper and lower body, and will continue doing my simulated running on the arc trainer (when ever it gets fixed) and the eliptical. I'm using the FIRST program with the goal race of TOU. If my foot is 100% by then, I may attempt to run it even if I have not logged any real running miles up to that. It would be a cool experiment it how well arc training/eliptical training works for a runner.
