It's Monday morning, but I'm just getting around to posting Sat. mornings "run".  I got up early and did a tempo "run" on the eliptical.  The arc trainer is dead again.  I did 10 mins warmup, 32 mins at about 90% effort, and 10 mins cool down.  After getting home and showered, I took my daughter, Tally, to Phoenix to Big Surf water park for the day.  After 7 hours of climbing to the top of slides and all the other stuff in the 110 degree heat, I decided that that should count for a long run.  Tally had fun and we made it home by about 10pm.  Yesterday was just busy with church and family stuff, so anyways that was my Sat. report.

What fun! Do you often do one on one dates with you kids? You are the best dad!

Sounds like you had a fun day!!! Too bad about the arc trainer being broken again. What's up with that?

From Rhett on Mon, Jun 29, 2009 at 14:17:56 from 74.41.249.102

Yep we had a blast. I take each of my kids for a one on one day with dad one time each year. They get to pick what they want to do for the day. It is usually a long day, but it is worth the effort and cost to have that one on one time.

Sounds like a great day and good way to "get your mileage".

Hope the arc trainer gets fixed soon.

Man not again. That arc trainer must really have some issues. Great job getting out with your daughter. Sounds like she will remember that one for years to come. I should do something like that with my girls.

Marc, here is the arc trainer's issue: it's not diehard enough for Rhett!!! Plain and simple!!! :)

Rhett ... AWESOME DAY!!!!

:) :) :)
