I figured I'd head out into the desert for a long adventure run this morning. I loaded my hydration pack with the water bladder, 2 water bottles, a baggie of S-Caps, and a few homemade gu packs.  I ran some trails I haven't run before. It was crazy with really steep up and downs for the first hour and a half, then it became more runnable for the second half of the run but the trail was very loose sand which wasn't easy to run. It's a good thing I finished when I did because with about a mile to go I finished off all 100 ounces of my water.

sounds like 16.5 miles of awesome running...really , 100 oz's water? That must have been a bunch of sloshing around.

Impressive! That is all I need to say...

Slick, even drinking that much with as hot as it is out there, there was no sloshing and I wish I had had more water.

Blake, thanks. It was really slow though.

IJR, it was a lot of fun. I love going out in the desert and exploring new trails.
