I am still limping this morning when walking, but the pain is half what it was yesterday.

Full body weight resistance with emphasis on lower body, then 25 minutes eliptical work.

I'm taking Chase (my 10 year old) golfing after work today. I'll probably have to get a cart, since I don't think my foot would hold up for the entire corse. He's a good golfer and will probably beat me.

So do you wear your boot any more? Do you think that would help?

Hubby wants me to go golfing with him today...don't really want to but I might just give in and go.

Go golfing with your sweetie. It will be fun. Just leave you super intense competitive self at home. No, I don't wear my boot anymore, yes it would probably help.

Have fun golfing with Chase, perfect way to unwind and have a great father and son time. Larry is doing a golf tournament right now, for work of course. I'm happy to hear that your foot pain is better today. Sending healing thoughts your way.

Hang in there Rhett! I see your frustration in my wife's eyes every day. She too is going a bit crazy with her injury. Just keep doing what you can do without causing further damage to that foot.

Thanks Smooth and Jeff. It helps now that I've made the decision not to run at all for the next few weeks. At least I won't be trying to decide what to do all the time. I'm just trying to get my heart into this X-training thing.
