I'm going to take your advice on the biking. how should I set these bike like what intensity how far to go considering I try to run 6 days a week for 60 or more miles.

Great week of running and cross-training and recovery! Very intelligent training plan! :)

That's called a "brick" ... pretty smart aren't I? :-)

Smooth, I'm at least trying to be "intelligent" about my training. You never know until race day if it works.
IJG, you got it. It's a Tri thing.
Yasir, That is a tough question as every runner is different. Over the last 11 years I have run 15 marathons and am now training for number 16. Not once have I trained the same way for any marathon. I have tried to learn from each training cycle and change things up based on what worked for me, so everything I do is anecdotal based on my experience. I see that you seem to pound out 10 milers pretty consistently and I'm guessing at usually about the same pace. If that is working I wouldn't recommend getting on the bike. I like to use the bike as recovery from or preparation for my harder runs. For me that works. As a matter of fact, my first sub 3 I ran 4 days a week with 2 days cross training. My second sub 3 and my marathon PR I only ran 3 days a week with 3 days cross training. Now those 3 days a week were all very hard runs and fairly long. Anyways, there is more than one way to skin a cat. So hopefully that helps with the biking question.
