1 hour deep water running with a pretty consistent effort. I'll call it a long slow run.

You are sooo dedicated. Great job. How's the pain level since you stopped running and started wearing the boot?

From Rhett on Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 11:59:44 from 74.41.249.102

Pain level is way down. As a matter of fact it is usually around zero as long as I wear the boot. Then I take it off and try and walk without it and realize fairly quickly that I need to keep on the boot. I don't get any pain from the deep water running though.

So do you think you are still 4-6 weeks of no running? I am sure the pool running will keep you in shape and you may even get a tan!

I have no idea how long it is going to take. I was told that once it stopped hurting I could start running again. I'm hoping that will be less than a month. In the mean time I'll be water running.

I would take it nice and easy. Don't overdo it and get set back anymore. How tired were you after doing that 1 hr of water running get you?? Never done it but sounds like a great workout.

That's awesome that you're running in water and rehabing at the same time. You'll be back on the road in no time.

NICE long slow run, wet, tan and all!!!! Hope you can walk w/o pain soon. You are so patient and dedicated!
