6 x 1 mile with 1/2 mile recovery jog (5.0)

First 5 @ 6:15

Todays repeats felt great.  Now I have to decide if I want to start doing them faster or with less recovery time.

Are you crazy???? Check out that speed!!!

Knowing you - you won't be able to make up your mind in regards to speeding up (although your mile repeats are already so so so fast) or taking a shorter recovery period and so you will do both!!! With that said, PLEASE be careful!!

It's fun to see you having so much fun with your running. :)

Wow! That is amazing! you are so fast...It is nice to see you running again.

You have come back with a vengeance!!! Keep it up.

Never figured out how to post those pictures? I'll have to put a PowerPoint presentation together on how to do it.

From Rhett on Wed, Nov 04, 2009 at 15:42:41 from 74.42.168.210

Burt your info was great. I think I know how to do it now. The problem is, when I blog from home on my Mac which isn't compatible with Manzilla, I don't get all those icons up top, so I can't insert a picture. What I need to do is e-mail myself the pictures and post them from work.

Or better yet, if anyone wants to see them just go to ForumFlyers.org and look at them there where I did post them. And anyone who is really bored can go to HavasuHustlers.com and click on the photo gallery and the Halloween Race and see some even better pictures. I like the one of the start when the costumed runners are taking off.

Rhett!!! You're a speed demon possessed!!! I'm with Teena, you'll probably go faster and have less recovery time! WOW!!! You are AWESOME!!! Boston's gonna be SO MUCH FUN for you!!!!

You should just wear the captain underpants outfit to the gym.

(I'm able to post pics from my wife's mac at home. But I do use firefox.)

very nice repeats - personally, I'd cut the 1/2 mile jog down to 1/4 mile before changing the repeat pace.

From Huans32 on Thu, Nov 05, 2009 at 09:45:51 from 138.64.2.76

Nice speedwork out bro. Your looking very fast already. Did you say you were going to be running SG half here in Jan??

From Rhett on Fri, Nov 06, 2009 at 10:20:49 from 216.67.216.176

Tim, thanks for the advice. I was leaning towards cutting recovery first, and coming from a speed demon like you, I think that is what I'll do.

Mark, I am pretty sure I will do sG 1/2 since there will be a FF reunion party, and I would love to see everyone. I haven't signed up yet though. You going to be there?

Dale, I never had a chance to congratulate you on the promotion. Way to go! That is sweet.

Paul, they may kick my out of the gym if I show up as Captain Underpants. He is now in retirement. I did have a friend the other day tell me she saw my pictures on FaceBook, and I know my wife didn't post them. I sure hope those pictures don't come back to haunt me.

Smooth, Teena, Burt, Kathie: Thanks, it is fun to run fast again.
