I did a nice easy recovery run this morning.  I thought I might have some soreness in my legs after last nights half marathon run, but my legs, although tired, felt great.  Not even a twinge of soreness.  I ran 6 miles starting out slowlyl and then just running what felt easy.  Ended up running 6 miles, AP 8:04.

How old are you, Really? 22?

Great job man. You planning on doing the Ragnar this yr?? Your training looks well in line with that kind of training. What was your next race coming up again?? I know Boston but anything inbetween?

Dale, I'm 37 but I'm getting faster and my theory is every year you get faster you don't have to count. So I've been getting faster since I started racing at age 34... that makes 34 still.

Mark, no I'm not doing Ragnar, too far to travel. My next race is a half marathon here in Lake Havasu that is 2 weeks and 2 days before Boston. My goal in that race is to run it in exactly 1:30:00 (marathon goal pace) and not a second faster.

Wow Rhett your training runs keep getting better and better. I am sure you are in the best shape of you life.

I know that 8:00 miles feel pretty easy for me, they must feel like walking for you, Rhett. Best of luck going for that sub 3:00 at Boston and the 1:30 at Havasu. Sounds like a great plan.
