Participate in 5k and 10k races.
Personal:
I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties. Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation. It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again. Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

Warmup run before strength training that I then decided to skip.
Nice morning run, getting colder out there. Flared up my left hamstring again by accident during strength training yesterday. I think I can manage it though.
Morning run, reinjured left hamstring going a bit too fast. I felt really good until that happened. You'd think I would have learned my lesson about these things by now. I'll have to force myself to keep it slow for the next several weeks.
