Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

Didn't feel like running today. Spent most of the time zoned out thinking about a good friend who is in the final hours of his life. I just found out a couple weeks ago that he's fighting cancer and feel terrible for not reaching out to him sooner. Now the end of the battle is near and I missed the opportunity to say how much I loved him as a friend. God is calling home a wonderful saint.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Will be praying you get to talk with him and share with him while he is still able.

Thanks Jim. He passed away last night. One of those deals where I can't believe he's really gone.

Sorry to hear that! Will definitely be praying to his family and you as I am sure it is very difficult.
