Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

AM: Progression to 7:30 pace over 4 mi + Strength training.  Really tired this morning.

PM: Ran 8 mi over a hilly course (7:43 avg) during lunch hour.  Temps in 30s with full sun.  Sloppy sidewalks so I had to keep slowing down at times.  That's "ok" though since I'm not in a real push phase yet.  Back to the desk.

Nice double runs. It really is hard to push in the winter months. We all are worried about slipping and falling on the ice. The muscle also don't respond as well in the winter. Keep the great running going.

Great day of running. How is work right now?

What are you Boston plans? When are you arriving and where are you staying?

From Robert on Fri, Jan 23, 2009 at 12:34:15

Thanks. Work continues to be stressful. Krista and I are arriving in Boston on Sat. afternoon. I think we are staying at the Hyatt Boston (I signed up really early and have the confirm papers back at home).

Cool, Kami and I arrive on Friday (our anniversary) and are staying at the Hilton Financial district, about .5 miles away. We leave early Wednesday.

How about you Dave, what are your plans?

Jeff,

My wife and all 6 kids are coming. We'll be staying at the Best Western in Quincy (just south of Boston). We'll get in on Sat and stay until Wed (got Tues night tickets to Red Sox game).
