Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness and life.

Thanks and Happy New Year to you! First time I actually enjoyed seeing another year pass.

Nice start to the week...any goals for Boston?

From Robert on Tue, Jan 06, 2009 at 08:17:04

Yes, my goal is to follow you! Something below 3 hrs is my stretch goal. Below 3:07 is my main goal. You're shooting for sub 3, right?

From rockness18 on Tue, Jan 06, 2009 at 09:04:44

Yeah, I'm thinking sub-3, but I'll need to experience a little more improvement between now and then. I'll firm up my goal in March.

Hoepfully I will get to meet you guys in person in April in Boston. Should be a fun race. You guys have some great goals and should be able to reach them with some good training.
