Participate in 5k and 10k races.
Personal:
I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties. Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation. It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again. Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

AM: Slow 4 mi on treadmill + Strength training.
PM: Easy progression to 7:30 pace (8:03 avg). Sunny and in the 30s. Still icy in spots.
Hoepfully I will get to meet you guys in person in April in Boston. Should be a fun race. You guys have some great goals and should be able to reach them with some good training.
