On vacation in the wonderful town of Graeagle, CA where my Dad grew up. It's a little former lumber town where they used to make the wooden boxes for CA oranges. Now it's a retirement community in with several golf courses and the cute house my Dad grew up in is The Graeagle Mill Works--a bakery and sandwich shop that does a hopping business. Anyway, today Lisa and I rode our bikes into town and did a little loop back to the campground. 25 miles total. Freezing though! We had to stop and get some hot chocolate. Much cooler in the middle of the Sierra Nevada mountains than it is at the same elevation in Davis County, Utah. |
