plan was 4 x 1 mile at 6:05. plan broke down fast. too tired, too much slush, chose a route with too many turns, 100% humidity with too many layers so I got exercise asthma, I needed albuterol bad after one interval and didn't have any with me.... lots of excuses. oh well. 6:04, 6:10, 6:07, 6:15. My next tempo run will be on Mission Bay in SD, that should cheer me up.

Have fun in San Diego. I'm off to the Bay Area this weekend for an assault on Tilden Park and Strawberry canyon. Lots of elevation gain and loss - the last time I did this run I cried from the pain. But, as they say, no pain no pain. Also, have a 12 mile hike planned .... at least no possibility of a thermal inversion...

The Tilden Tough Ten which I ran a few years back covers some of the same ground as the planned Tilden Tough 16 I'm planning to do...

hey thanks guys. Have fun running those hills in Berkeley David, but be careful with the calves. I just about blew mine out in Escondido running some hills over christmas.
