five fingers 6.5 miles. was a little warm for running, 66 degrees. fortunately there was a nice breeze coming in from the ocean, and shade from the foliage on portions of the packed dirt trails here in San Marcos. 7:27 average

ha ha I am just seeing if anyone is paying attention. but yes it is really really nice down here and no I don't want to come back to Utah. I don't mind the cold really, it is the air quality i can't take. hopefully some storms will line up to clean things out soon.

I think air quality will improve in the next day or two, and stay good for a little while. It looks like we have a string of "unsettled weather" coming in, which is good for breathing, bad for footing.

hey Paul, -- who ever thought I would be cheering for the bears in a football game? but I have to begrudgingly admit- brent looked pretty good in the 2nd half. which is the only half I watched. no way I could watch a whole bears-viking game, that would be worse than running in Logans air.
