USU to 3400 N, down the nasty hill, then out to 4400 E. That is 6.5 miles from Widtsoe building so 13 RT

Ran the first 11 at an overall 7:40. Then I kicked it up the last two miles and ran 6:41 for the last two.

Good air, finally.

Broke in a new pair of new balance after two years out of them; these 1062's seem a little bigger than the 1060s I had a couple years ago but I guess the extra toe room can't hurt on the long runs, which is all I plan on using these super-cushioned shoes for.

Hey! What happened to my 12 mile lead over you for the year? Now I'm only .84 miles ahead! Maybe you should take an easy week you know, don't want to over do it. :-)

JD, I feel like taking a week or two off right now! Problem is, you have more mileage and are only training for the half marathon, which means I should have twice as many miles I guess.. so you are technically WAY in front of me!!

Well, if we consider the amount of time it takes you to run these miles with the amount of time it takes me to run them...I'll never catch up!

You're going to blow the doors off of 3 hrs. at Ogden!

JD, now I've done something to my foot- I am hoping nothing too serious but maybe I should take a day or two off and let you get the lead back. Injuries- the one factor that isn't completely in our control. sigh...

From JD on Thu, Feb 26, 2009 at 11:16:44 from 32.176.143.174

I hope the foot heals quickly. This is an easy week for me so if you take a day or two off I won't get that far ahead...however, I'm hoping to run some higher mileages then next couple of months...send some speed my way!
