No, I didn't run a half marathon race, I just ran 13.1 miles in tribute to Paul Jon and Cody who were down in Ogden representing Cache Valley proudly. Me, I haven't run this far in weeks, and it showed. I ran the first 8 miles pretty well, then kind of pooped out. 7:30 average overall.

Just to show my support for the fast guys slogging it out in Ogden, I ran from Prov to Millville to Nibley then down the PLANET WALK- yes- the famous PLANET WALK- a secret route only known to a few select elite runner (and then me).

Foot a little sore- iced immediately after and had it and my shin wrapped tight.

I am going to make a fool out of myself at the SLC 1/2 in two weeks with my lack of training  but thats OK I guess.

Man! you ran a half AND included the Planet Walk into the course? sounds perfect. Hope your foot survived ok though, better watch that close. Sorry I didn't win, but technically I won my age group, so you could still collect your dough.

yeah, I made a cool 300 bucks off that one since you and Jon and Paul all won! not bad for not doing anything.

I had to risk life and limb crossing highways 165 and 89 twice to make it to planet walk but it was worth it. I figured the route I picked would be close to 13 miles so thought it was pretty funny when it turned out to be exactly 13.1 from door to door according to my garmin!

Had you done Planet Walk before?

Jon, not running, though my twins love to bike it. Right after they learned to ride bikes at age 5 we were doing it pretty much every day (drive down, then bike out and back). Haven't taken them down yet this year (they just turned 8) but will soon.
