I hopped on my old chromoly road bike and knocked off a pretty brisk 27 miles, from Providence to my cousins house in Paradise and back. Got hit by the thunderstorn at Millville on the way back.

A year ago, there were some heated discussions about how to count biking miles- people were getting upset by bikers on the mileage board. The general consensus was 3:1 bike:run miles. Apparently you have a 54:1 ratio.

I'm sorry. It's too bad they can transfer your membership to another gym to use their pool for three weeks, or you may not have another gym where you live.
You could always do some air bicycle exercises.

Jon, yeah, I dont want to get banned by overestimating those running miles on the bike!
Kory, yeah, kind of tough with the pool closed, but I have found the spinner bikes work pretty well too, and I used the elliptical today without my knee hurting by putting a compression band on. Another week or so and I will start running again- bringing the mileage up real slow. I learned my lesson the hard way this time.
