45 minutes on the stupid elliptical. gee what fun. great weather outside and I get to be a hamster on an elliptical in the stupid fieldhouse. Question- why don't they put an electrical generator on the ellipticals so the energy could be put to green use? Since I am producing 180 watts I could power 10 high efficiency fluorescent light bulbs on this stupid thing.

At my gym, the ellipticals power the TV audio jacks. Better than nothing, right?

That's a bummer! It must be the season for injuries - last week I hurt my knee. But it seems ok now. I thought I was done but today managed 8 and it feels alright.

How long do they think you'll be out?

Paul- you're kidding, right?

David- beats me. If it was up to me I would start running tomorrow. But I guess I am going to have to listen to wiser people and just ride this out for awhile. Ogden is out. Now I am thinking about doing the Boulder Bolder 10K on Memorial day and shoot for a sub 38. I figure all I need for that is 8 weeks of solid training, so I am hoping two weeks to get back to running.

No, I'm serious. Jon can vouch for me. If I stop pedaling, I lose audio to my headphones.
