two miles at 7:45. foot and shin seem reasonable OK... maybe a little sore on the foot? Not sure if pyschosomatic or not. Iced, ibuprofen, will probably not run tomorrow. But I can't do the eplliptical anymore- it drivesme carzy and it also makes my right knee sore- dont like the motion. I need to learn how to water run. Cody, can you help me out if you are listening?

At least you had faith and tried. Now you know like me that the recovery can be frustrating like we mentioned early on my blog.

I've heard a lot of people mention that the Elliptical hurts knees. I haven't experienced it yet. But I experienced the crazy part of using it.

What do you think about getting an Ultra Sonic treatment on it? That might speed the healing up. I've thought about doing this myself.

thanks for the info on the elliptical knee thing- now I know I'm not imagining it, it really bugs me!

we got snow last night, it was 20 degrees this morning and the roads were icy. but trying to be dedicated I hopped on my bike and headed to work. then going up a hill the chain broke! maybe all this is just a sign that I need to just eat donuts and watch TV for a few months :-)

I will ask about the ultrasnic, sounds interesting.

Hang in there, keep healing, I am looking forward to meeting you when we get back in shape and can run a race together, Scott

Can I join you with the donut idea. I really like that. Maybe we can hang out at the races and watch everyone else run and we will eat donuts.

I would try the water jogging like I hopefully I'm going to try next week. I'm going to maybe try and run tomorrow or Saturday.
