I'm kind of breaking away from the normal use of this blog and decided to set up a recipe blog so anyone can see what exactly this crazy family eats every day. We are very consistent and dedicated to good health. We have a unique way of eating that has brought us health and happiness.

Dinner: French Toast (with homemade whole wheat bread) topped with fresh raspberries and agave syrup(we ran out of maple syrup..we'll have to wait until I go to Costco next week)

Dessert: Kids bought themselves all sorts of treats at Good Earth with their compensation packet for Heart of Holladay.

Breakfast: oats and yogurt

Lunch: Lentils (I just boiled them and added some olive oil and braggs...I love them that way..oh and a dash of dehydrated onions)

sides: baby carrots, homemade bread with jam, orange slices

Dinner: Homemade Pizza( put some of the chicken sausage from Costco on top...yum)

fresh strawberries, baby carrots

Dessert: my favorite!!! Strawberry Shortcake

I made a recipe of vanilla pound cake (cut down on the eggs and put in half olive oil half butter...Sasha still won't eat it because of the eggs) Made muffins and used those for the shortcake part. I whipped up about a year's supply of whipping cream in my Bosch. Used some of that on top of the shortcake with cut up strawberries..heaven. I'm putting the leftovers of the whipping cream in my freezer to use over the next few months or so for anything that could use some cream....I love cream.

Breakfast: Fruity Breakfast Cereal (bought at good earth can't remember the name and I'm too tired from my run to go all the way upstairs and look) Julia talked me into buying it when we were on a date yesterday.

Lunch: Leftover Homemade Pizza (at the park after my midwife appointment)

sides: baby carrots, juice boxes

Dinner: Steamed Salmon and red potatoes ( i steam them in my two story steamer...it's great and then add dried parsley, garlic, dill, olive oil and salt)

sides: garden peas

Breakfast: Oats and Yogurt w/ sliced strawberries

Mid morning snack (we had friends coming over and needed to do lunch later)-strawberries and cream, natural cheetos, yogurt triple berry smoothies.

Lunch: Mashed Potatoes and chicken sausage

baby carrots

Dinner: Leftover mashed potatoes (we had a lot leftover because Daddy wasn't around to eat most of them and I just so darn used to cooking for him)

and....whatever else the kids felt like...bread and jam, oats and milk.....smoothie popsicles I made this morning. Then we went to the park after dinner and brought along our huge bag of baby carrots from Costco and they had millions of them. I always used to bring fresh veggies to the park. My kids will munch on anything when they are happily playing..so I sneak in more veggies that way.

I didn't have much of an appetite tonight but was hungry...perfect recipe for a blood sugar crash and no husband around......so sorry for myself. ....I know that they are having a time and I wouldn't interfere for the world....enough chatter....night y'all
