Breakfast: oats and milk Lunch: Cheese Sandwiches Dinner: Macaroni w/ red sauce and cheese sides: cukes I made the coolest thing yesterday that I'm so proud of. We'll see how proud I am when we try eating it. I got the idea from my mother-in-law who is an excellent cook. She knows how to make anything taste wonderful and always prepares us delicious meals when she is here. She took some of the zucchini from our garden and...pickled it!! I'd never in my life thought about it but it is actually a great thing to do with lots of zucchini and it is the only way Sasha will eat the stuff. I did a conservative 5 jars because I'm just trying it out and I didn't can it so it's just sitting in my fridge. I liked the taste of the brine I made so I think it will turn out well. |
