I'm kind of breaking away from the normal use of this blog and decided to set up a recipe blog so anyone can see what exactly this crazy family eats every day. We are very consistent and dedicated to good health. We have a unique way of eating that has brought us health and happiness.

Miles:This week: 0.00 Month: 0.00 Year: 0.00

Breakfast: Rolled raw oats with soymilk/milk and homemade granola.

sides: Cantelope

Lunch: Revisted Homemade Cheese Pizza

sides: grapes/baby carrots

We almost always just drink water with our meals. I'll let my kids have milk if they ask for it but I'm into simple. Sometimes I make homemade rootbeer with rootbeer flavor and agave to sweeten. I love rootbeer....I also make it into popsicles for later. I also often buy fresh limes and squeeze some into some water with a bit of agave. Mostly I push water because it's free.

Dinner: Steamed Salmon w/ Red potatoes ( I'll add dill and olive oil to the steamed potatoes and some dill and braggs liquid aminos-similar to soy sauce- to the salmon)

sides: cucumbers/watermelon

Dessert: Fresh homemade cinnamon rolls (I've been using my Bosch alot this week. I make these rolls with my same basic bread recipe only add butter and fructose and cinammon)

Your smart by drinking the water to keep hydrated, and is good to keep the body flushed. One of my weakness is diet vault zero soda. I love this drink and drink it every day which I know is not the best thing for me, but also drink water too. This is a bad habit for me and will be hard to break.

I had to run out of my house this morning because my wife bought the Jumbo Cinnamom rolls for the daycare kids. When she does this I have to get out of the house fast so that I don't have one.

There's too much fat in the bakery ones and frozen store ones. I will have to try your recipe. I don't eat a lot of sweets because the contents is just not good for you. Great meals by the way.

Kory - note that those roles are Sasha-kosher. Whole wheat, olive oil, no eggs or milk, honey or agave for sweetener.

Do I get healthy points for 'just reading' your menus/recipes? I certainly feel healthier. I really do love to read what people eat, and you are one thrify shopper too. So thanks for your time and energy here. I've purused your recipes, but I don't see one for beet borsch, and I'm dissapointed. I love beets and cabbage when they are in season. I'd love to see a good recipe if you have one. I'd also like to know how those flax crackers worked out....:)

You're funny. "Be ye eaters of the good food, and not just readers only." I got it. I used to work for the Good Earth Health Food store and always used to joke that just working there made me healthy....but let's not kid around here. I'm still after the borsch and flax cracker recipes....
