Pitas galore!! Nice job! Not on the strained calf. The 2nd place.

Thanks Burt. I think the first mile is what did me in. I went out way too fast. The Pita Pit was awesome! I forgot all about the pain while I was eating my prize :)

Good job, always hard to get the pace right in the first mile of a 5K. i wanted to read about your exciting duel to the finish, just barely getting second, maybe next time.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Mon, May 19, 2014 at 08:16:23 from 71.227.240.61

No duel for first place. He finished in 18:08. There was a kid fighting for second until we got to the first hill, but otherwise a pretty boring race :)

Nice job...is this your 2nd fastest 5K?

Hope the calf strain goes away quickly!

From rAtTLeTrAp on Mon, May 19, 2014 at 11:56:39 from 71.227.240.61

Yep, second fastest. I don't think I'll be seeing any more sub 19s. The calf is still achy and making me wonder about that 50 miler. Good thing I haven't registered yet.

From DLTheo on Mon, May 19, 2014 at 15:17:25 from 155.130.107.41

You don't need your calves to run 50 miles.

the last 5K I ran was similar, the first mile too fast and did me in. That makes for a painful 2nd and 3rd, doesn't it? Nice running RT!

From I Just Run on Mon, May 19, 2014 at 15:21:12 from 67.79.11.242

What do you mean you "won't be seeing any more sub 19's"? You may have to pace me so I can get there!
