I ran the Payson Park Loop this morning and I extended down into the park today, I had to wear tights this morning for the first time, it was a little nippy. I felt okay on the way out but then I started to have stomach issues on the way back but I was able to make it home okay without any VPB's. My average pace 8:38 with a total time of 1:01:65, I finished up with some light upper body weight training and then some push-up's, it was a good start to the week.
See ya tomorrow. |

Afternoon run today out to Mini Gu and then back to the house all via canal road, my legs felt tired at first but seemed to do better as the run went on. I took a couple of breaks here and there just to enjoy the sunshine, average pace was 8:21 with a total time of 50:55. I have been having a tough day today and I could sure feel the stress using up all my energy, after calming down I was able to relax a little and enjoy the run more. The mind can be a powerful thing! My son Ethan leaves for the Footlocker 5K down in California tomorrow, I hope he has a great time and runs a great race! Good luck son!

I ran out to GU via canal road, it was a death march from the get go! The plan was 10 plus but I knew after 3 miles that that was out of the question, on the way back I had stop every few miles to let my legs recover. I don't know what that was all about but it was pretty darn discouraging, I'm glad I was at least able to run the 8 miles. My average pace was way slow at 8:59 with a total time of 1:12:08. Another horrible week of trianing again, I really am struggling!
