I ran out to the T in the road and then ran back to the house, my calf and shin never really got loosened up and it was a bother the whole run hence the reason for the shorter run today... This is a cut back week for me so no big deal on the low miles for the day but I am slightly worried about this. It's a real funky feeling to, when I do one legged squats the first two are weak but then the pain goes away and its fine but then when I do the next set it does the same thing. That's how it has been running the first couple of steps are tender and then its fine after that but today it stayed sore the whole time, so I might take tomorrow off and then run on Thursday and then take Friday off and then do the race on Saturday, at least that's the plan. My average pace was 8:40 with a total time of 29:47, HR average was at 132. After the run I did my lower body weight training and then called it a day. See ya tomorrow.
