I got my cast off today but I am still in some pain but the good news is there is not a fracture, other wise it would have showed up on the ex-ray today... So this seems to be tissue damage which my doctor says is almost worse than a stress fracture because it takes just as long if not longer to heal. I am in a surgical shoe now which limits the motion and takes the stress off the balls of my foot, which will help with the healing process, and that is alot better than that darn cast. I can live with it. But, I'm Pretty sure that St George is out for this year and right now my main goal is to get back to running, even if it is only a few miles a day. So I will keep hoping that each day it will get better and better and then I can get back at it sooner than later.

See ya.

Tom- Very slowly, lots of swelling and very sore... It's really frustrating but I'm hanging in there. Thanks for checking in on me.

Clay, are you able to get some cross training done? Keep up the cardio? Hope you can give STG a try.

Brent- I could probably pool run but I just don't have the time... It's hard to walk, I had a ultrasound this week and there is lots of fluid, so the SGM is a no go for this year. I probably have another 3 weeks of pain before I see any improvement, so the writings on the wall so to speak:(
