I was finally able to get a good nights sleep for a change and the plan for today was to just take it easy and just run 3 miles and no more and do it at a nice easy pace. I ran out towards Payson via canal road and it felt so nice to be out in the morning for a change, my average pace was 8:50 with my HR average at 150 which really tells me that my HR monitor is not working right, I wasn't even working hard, total time was 29:13. After the run I ran the elliptical for 22 minutes and the pace was up beat between 90 and 95 on the RPM meter. I didn't want to over do it today as not to wear myself out for tomorrow, my goal is to run 12 miles, I finished up with some strength training on my upper body for 30 minutes and then some push-ups. I feel really good right now I just hope that it continues, my main goal is to get my weekly daily miles up tp 8 miles a day and then do a long run on the weekends... Friday's will always be my easy day just to let my body recover, I feel like I'm on the right track. See ya tomorrow.
