Doing a few more 1/2 marathons this year and continue to support new runners by running with them!

Personal:

Blessed to live in beautiful Fountain Hills, AZ during winter/spring months then in beautiful Idaho Falls, ID in the summer/fall months!  Thoroughly enjoy hiking, golfing, and running all year round (not into cold winter sports)! Married to Rob for 22 years ~ Two 19 year old college teens!

Beautiful morning!  A little chilly at the top of the mountain when it came to stripping down but of course warmed up right away!  Last hill was a bugger but still did really well, my hill training really worked off.  Last year's time was 1:16:19 vs. this year at 1:12:22!  7:43 pace!

A new PR for me, yay, soooo fun, LOVE local races!

 

Walked the rolling hills this afternoon with girlfriend - 3miles!

Thanks Jeff, my knee has been so awesome, no twinges what-so-ever! I had fun with a 10K race last week also!

Steve, what a bummer you had to miss this awesome race, it was just as good as last year, very well organized and fun course! Hopefully you'll be able to participate next year!

This is a great race - one of the best roads races I've ever done. I'll definitely be back next year! Fountain Hills is such a beautiful area.

Thanks Jake, congrats on YOUR PR, just amazing!! I actually read your profile on the Elite section of the Mtn. to fountain website a few days before the race, I can't believe your fast come back to running. This is definitely one of my favorite races too! I am blessed to live in beautiful Fountain Hills during the winter/spring months then in beautiful Idaho Falls in the summer/Fall months. Unlike Burt, I would marry Fountain Hills, we LOVE it here!

I'll see you whizzing by again next year, and please watch out for those Jumping Chollas - OUCH!!
