Remarkable achievements require remarkable efforts

Yesterday I ran 4 miles on the treadmill in 28 minutes.

Today I ran 8 miles in 1:06.

I am excited for the SPEEDY SPANIARD on Thursday!!!

Today we ran 1.2 miles (the end of the 10k we're running tomorrow).

Next year I am starting at the front of the pack.  Mile one killed me :) 

Merri: 41:37 4th overall and 1st in my age group
Tammy: 45:51 4th in her age group
Karyn: 1:01 (I think)
Chad: Broke his stroller and tried to take out all 3 kids. I am glad all of the kids were ok...somewhat!
Broc: 1 mile in 10:41 4th in his age group! Way to go Broc!

Next time I'll start at the first of the pack rather than the middle. It's too hard to fight your way through to the front.

today I ran 16.5 miles with the Spanish fork running club. It was a really good run! I'm glad I met Josse at the Speedy Spaniard.

Next time I am doing one of my bottles for water and the other Gatorade. And I need to remember to bring a gu shot. The running club had also placed water along the route in like 4 places I think, which was way nice.

My legs were getting tired, but my feet seemed to bother me the most. I am icing them now so hopefully they will get better. I am going to be stretching a lot today. And we'll probably go swimming so I'll soak in the pool as well.
