3 easy miles @ 10:12/mi. My legs felt pretty good. They haven't fully recovered from the marathon, but I didn't feel any pain except a little in my right hip (chronic) and a little in my right quad during the last mile. This was the same spot that kept tightening up during the last 5-ish miles of the marathon. When it would tighten I would walk, trying to avoid a long-lasting injury. I think the walking worked. The pain is mostly gone, and felt better today than it did walking yesterday. I'm feeling like I met my goal to run the marathon without derailing my recovery. Time will tell. |
