I expected Kent and Larry this morning, and maybe Kevin. Nope. Just me. I headed to the track anyway. My body is getting to where it can run double digit miles at 9:00-10:00 minute pace. I need to remind it that it's possible to do that at 7:00-8:00 minute pace. So I did three 1 mile repeats on the THS track this morning. My goal was around 8:00 minute pace. The results were 7:57, 7:56, and 8:02. I'll take it. I was pleased with how I felt this morning after the long hot run on Saturday. I was still dragging a little yesterday, but felt recovered this morning. Overall: 5.75 @ 9:47/mi. |
