Kept it short in case I decide to run the Faith 5K tomorrow. Not really feeling great. Even this run was laborsome and my HR was way too high. I think my heart is just tired.

Just run it! It would be a good baseline 5K on tired legs. Get some rest tonight and you just might surprise yourself with a PR.

I've decided to run it and shoot for a 19:30 (6:25+6:25+6:15+:30). :-) I have gone out too fast and then slowed down on every 5K. Last year I ran the first mile of this race in 5:58 and it is slightly uphill. I'll try and hold back this time and see if I can come out with better overall results.

Great idea. My best 5K was a negative pace just like you have planned. It's so hard to keep it slow with all the speedy ones at the start, but so much fun to pick them off during the next 2.6 miles. Good luck! Look forward to reading about it.
