Nice! Just take it easy and don't re-injure yourself.
Bike-blogging question:
I'm new to the bike. I'm just riding a mountain bike right now. It looks like I'm only going about 13.5 mph on it. Is that a normal speed for a mountain bike on flat, paved trails?

Glad to see things improving. Hopefully the healing will continue. Nice job on the biking lately.

Good deal! Hopefully that is a sign of good things to come :)

My hip hurt more as the day went on so not much progress with that! I biked today and for some reason that seems to make it feel better. I have no pain when I bike.
Carl,
I really don't know much about biking but I believe 13.5 is pretty good on a mountain bike. I'm sure your bike weighs about 40-50 pounds, my rode bike weighs about 17-18 pounds and has tires like razor blades :-) If you're like me your muscles get tired way before your cardio gets tired. Keep it up though I know you'll reap some benefit from the biking.
