Back in the USA and behind on my running. Apparently we had a cool front blow through over the weekend while I was gone. We recieved 2 inches of much needed rain. This morning was much more plesent than when I left last week. It actually felt good!

Track Interval Training @ 400's. I like this workout but it seems too easy. I'm thinking it's supposed to be easy since I am supposed to have a 20 miler later this week. I'm not sure how I'm going to get all my running in for the next two weeks as I am going to be traveling many of the days. I may have to condence my workouts and just do what I can.

These Intervals are a little faster than scheduled but they felt comfortable so I just ran at that pace. (Target was 1:27)

Awesome job, IRJ. Why you aren't running 5k's in the 18:00's is beyond me.

I agree with DH. If you can run 400s that fast, you should be well below 19. Nice runnin'!

I was going to say the same thing.

SJ - either he's sandbagging the 5k's or we need go certify the track he is using. lol.

IRJ - you should travel to the Texas Senior games - look at the track times - you could medal in all of them, and if you trained for the short stuff you could take away some gold!

I really think I could do this workout at about 1:15 AVG. I'm really disappointed I didn't get to go through with the "real" 5K training plan Bam layed out for me at the beginning of the summer. Hopefully next summer I will be able to really push the 5K time. The only problem is I'm getting old quick!

DH, I looked at the times on the TS games. There must not be much participation as I'm sure there are many people out there MUCH faster than me. Fun thought though. :-)
