3 miles @ 4:45 pace before I was off to OKC. It was 68 degrees...hot and sweaty after only three miles :-( Now I'm concerned about the heat during the race. It is supposed to be 64 degrees at the start.

Okay. I'll download it on my phone and be cheering for you at church! ha! I hope I don't cheer out too loud! Actually....I don't think I'll be at church tomorrow. I will be laying on my bed with my leg propped up, so I will be cheering as loud as I want! Good luck IJR!!!!

With the warmer temps tomorrow, just make sure you don't go out too fast, and that you drink gatorade at every water station.

Stick to your plan! Pace the first few miles on the easy side to conserve energy. We all get nervous the day before. Channel the nervous energy into your run.

Nerves will calm when the race starts... Listen to the hammer, go out conservative, you legs will be there, enjoy it!

Very strong, looking forward to the report. It was about as hot there as here, amazing.

That's even more impressive then, you know how much better it will be when you are feeling it! Looking forward to the whole report.

The stretch from 21-24 on that course is brutal, I don't see how anyone could stay on pace. Preston, it was nice to meet you, and I'm kinda with JG...you are meant to be at Boston with your speed.

Come and run in Utah where the marathons are cool and downhill. I didn't follow this morning because I have been too sick and in pain. I got on earlier to see how you and SlowJoe did....I can't imagine how you feel with only a minute from BQing. I just have been aching for you all day. The heat can really make you run so much slower. I am so sorry! Come run in Utah! You will BQ for sure!
