One mile on the treadmill @ 12 min pace.  Did a few leg exercises that did not irritate the knee. Lifted a few weights.

Ezekiel 7:17
"Every hand will go limp; every leg will be wet with urine."

I know a guy who thinks urine is the cure for everything... He drinks it and puts it on cuts, rashes...everything! Maybe I need to pee on my knee!  : (

Hold off on that one until you get some really strong medical advice!

Flatlander....Didn't you read my Blog where I said I was ready to try ANYTHING... :)

I agree it's a very inexpensive solution.

I hope he puts some sugar or at least a lemon slice in it first, before guzzling.

Slow Joe... No, he's a REAL man and drinks it straight, not even on the rocks...!

Many thanks, Joe. As a non-drinker, until this week I always ordered tonic and lime at cocktail parties. Those days are now behind me. Gotta love this blog.

Hey...If you can't run you've got to have something to talk about on the Blog...Drinking Pee is as good as any :)

Where does this guy live? You keep some "interesting" company. :-)

From I Just Run on Wed, Apr 06, 2011 at 13:09:05 from 67.79.11.242

I used to go to church with this guy...He loved to bring up the subject when there were a lot of people around...expecially kids. I think the Pee did something to his brain cells. You wouldn't belive the information on the internet about drinking that stuff, there's a whole culture who believe in it... Makes me want to gag just thinking about it...!

I've worked with Preston for about 15 years now and believe me when I say he doesn't give up!! I didn't think he would pee himself.

It's funny this has come up cause I've been getting my backpacking gear back in order since it's been 20 years since I've done a week long 50 miler. I was talking to the sales guy about the new ceramic water filters asking how good they are compared to iodine tabs. He offered to pee in a cup, filter, and drink it with his device. So I let him. I think it upset him when I laughed and bought the iodine tabs.

Ouch - you better be pretty confident you're gonna get a sale out of it before you drink your pee. Bad day for that guy.

Man I feel your pain. I was in your shoes 6 months ago. Just guzzle it and pray it stays down.
