Long-Term Running Goals: Run a 5k under 18:00 Personal: Have been active my whole life, but turned my focus to running in 2006 after deciding to run a marathon. I really enjoy the training aspect and staying healthy, but mileage has been on the decline over the past 3 years due to work commitments, so focus has turned away from races and more on just staying fit enough to still enjoy getting out. AM Took Griffin on his loop. Was gonna wear my Garmin, but
the battery was low, so no watch for that section. Then went out on a
5 mile loop I've done and sure enough the watch died. Not tryin to
break any records today, so no worries. |

Took Griffin on his
loop today, no watch. I had to swing by the grocery store during my
solo run to get some Resolve. We watched a puppy overnight last night,
and he ralphed on the carpet. Sorry Allie, no speed records today. :

| AM 5.10 in 36:39. Avg. 7:10 per mile Ran Griffin for 2 with no watch. Thans went out on Dinner time loop, with a little extra down by the river. Did a 2 mile pick up ini the middle. Splits were 6:45(slight uphill) & 6:38(slight downhill). Still feel a little beat up from Thursday's workout, but good overall.
