Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

Quick update, haven't posted since Trials...

Taking planned time off after trials, have not ran a step since the race. Goal is to let my groin injury heal...3+ years of running on a nagging injury is not advised, but that's what I've been doing since 2013 or so (can't even remember).

Rest alone was not doing the trick...after over a month, the groin was definitely less irrigation, but still "there". So went to the next step and scheduled a PT appointment with Rebound, who specializes in athletes.

My main concern was that I might have a sports hernia and need surgery, but Craig confirmed not a hernia, although could develope to that if I keep abusing it. Basically one side of my abdominal muscles are much tighter than the other, which is causing an imbalance of range of motion in my whole body (arms and legs), which is kind of weird, but was quite measureable on the PT table. So now my PT exercises are meant to loosen one side and strengthen the other. Craig is confident this will do the trick, but we shall see. Hopefully I can begin running again in 2 or 3 weeks. It would be nice to run 100% pain free, have forgotten what that feels like.
