Diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis in June of 2008. Started taking Enbrel in March, 2009.

Ran the Logan River Trail to Guineva Malibu campground with Jon before work. 7:57/mile average for about 10 miles. It was a nice morning, and the run felt good. Need to run out there more often.

I hear you Paul. I call them my "why I moved to Utah runs". I need to do them more often to remind myself.When I first came here in 2002 I was constantly overwhelmed by the beauty of this state. It's amazing how you can get used to things. I have to remind myself to appreciate it now.

Rob, yeah this run was an old favorite when I lived in Logan, now I rarely do it now that I'm in Smithfield. My trails in Smtihfield are really nice, but not as "big" as Logan Canyon.

when you go from spring hollow to guinavah, do you keep following the river trail, or use the highway? I tried running that section of trail once and it seemed kind of rough so was worried I might sprain an ankle. but I would like to extend my runs beyond spring hollow.

Scott- yeah, I run that portion all the time. It's not any worse then the singletrack just past second dam.

thanks, I will give it a shot again. I only tried it once, a few years ago when nursing a sprained ankle, and turned back after a few hundred yards out of wimpy fear. But I am tougher now (I think...)
