Today we started with 2 vertical laps then dynamic stretching then breaking into our groups. The distance group jogged up to the track then from the track ran up to foothill down past the VA and along guardsman for a warm up. Then at the track we did one mile of speed changes then changed shoes. For the workout it was 2 sets of 4 300s with jogging 100 recovery. I was in a group with Natalie, Bill and Nate. Our time was 55 seconds for each. On the first one Natalie and I both forgot to hit lap on our Garmins so I did about 50 meters into it. Our first one on my watch said 45 seconds so im assuming we were on pace. At this point I was only coughing a little bit and I was feeling good. On the second one our time was 53 so we were still good. I was really tired after this one, well not my legs but my lungs are what really hurt. Then I had to go because I had to go to peer court. So I could only get in 2 of the 8:( which is a really bad thing actually because Simplot is in less than a week and I am tired after 2 300s! I need to get my lungs back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any suggestions?!?!?!?!? |
