Today is my first day back running since that horrible day at REGIONS!!! So I ran down to sugarhouse park and decided to go to Larry's and Tim's workout because I have not ran with them for a long time. So I did a mile warm up, stretched, did another half mile on the track with Tim then heard the workout. Since Tim has a half marathon this weekend all we did was strides. We did 6x100 meter strides then 4 400s at 80 pace so strides with 20 seconds of recovery for all the strides. Then I did a half mile cooldown. On the first one I felt fine, and hit an 80, second felt ok also and I hit a 79, on the third and fourth I was tired and hit for both a 78. Not running for a week really makes you tired! |
