Today I did a speed workout, or I attempted to do a speed workout. I started with a mile warm up, then 3 laps of J's to loosen up my sore legs. The workout was 400, 800, 400 all at 70 pace. My first 400 was 68 and I was not tired at all. Then when I found out I was doing an 800 at 70 pace, I mentally broke down. My first 400 was 70 and I was dyeing and I had to drop out after 100 meters of the second lap because I could not breathe. I don't know what was wrong but it was horrible! Then the last 400 I did in 71. Then I did a half mile cooldown and called it a rough day. |
