AM: At my fitness class, we had a sub. We walked from HPER up the the University of Utah track for another track workout this week. We did a short jog as a warm up, drills, then she made us do two hills by the track.... Weird warm up. Then we heard the workout was 3x1 mile repeats. I was nervous I wasn't able to hit my times because I havn't ran hard for a while and am still feeling really sick. We started fine and my times were suposed to be 6:30. My first one was 6:29, then we took 2 minutes recovery and started again. The other guys in the class started before me so I got to chase them down. We did the second mile going the opposite way on the track. My time was 6:07. I felt fine. I told her I shouldn't do the last one because of my speed workout tonight, so I just jogged around to finish at 3 miles. About 3 laps cooldown. Good, productive workout.
